Chad Billingsley looks to return to Dodgers line up

Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Chad Billingsley looks to return to the starting line up soon, as he finishes up his rehab assignment with the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes on Thursday.

Billingsley injured his index finger during Spring Training at Camelback Ranch, needed another outing before he is scheduled to make his debut against the San Diego Padres on April 10th. His injury allowed Dodger management to delay the movement of Aaron Harang, who has been strongly rumored to be on the trading block.

Billingsley noted that he needed another start before his debut for the Dodgers, after his six inning start at Camelback Ranch on Friday.

It shouldn’t take long at all. It’s been almost two weeks. I just want to get a better feel for it,” said Billingsley.

Look for the Dodgers to place Billingsley in the rotation between Josh Beckett and Zack Greinke. His health is key to this power rotation, as the Dodgers make a run at the World Series and NL West division this season.
